Stranger things : The end is approaching for the Netflix series
It’s been almost 10 years since the launch of Netflix Stranger things (2016)this fantastic series strongly inspired by the cinema of the 80s (think in particular of Amblin and the productions of Steven Spielberg) and the literary works of HP Lovecraft and Stephen King. A program that immediately touched the hearts of subscribers to the streaming service, who were delighted to follow the adventures of the mysterious Eleven and the group of young people who accompanies her. Even if subsequent seasons were delayed each time, the success of the series has not diminished.
In 2022, season 4 broke viewing records. This chapter has also been repopularized the piece Running up that hill by Kate Bush thanks to its use in episode 4. But all good things must come to an end, and Stranger Things will have its conclusion too. The fifth season will be the last. Creators Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer want to end the show in the best way possible. So they still took their time to make sure they hadn’t messed up anything. Better yet, the production would have cinematic-level storytelling. The episodes will then be longer to ensure an excellent show, as well as strong emotional moments.
“People started crying.”
After years of work, Millie Bobby Brown and the other performers will say goodbye to their characters. Production is still underway, but the fifth season of will be broadcast Stranger things is scheduled for 2025. For its part, the casting has already been able to go through an emotional phase during reading the final episode of the series. This is what David Harbor said on the podcast Happy Sad Confused (go People). The actor felt that it was “best episode of Stranger Things” and revealed that the actors had “he shouted uncontrollably” simply by reading the script.
At the end of this (final) episode, as we were reading it, about halfway through, people started crying. Then, in the last 20 minutes, there were waves of uncontrollable crying from several people. Noah Schnapp’s reaction was the most surprising.
These reactions are reminiscent of those of the cast of game of Thrones before the end of season 8. Images that HBO had shared and which showed the emotion of Emilia Clarke and Kit Harington.
It wouldn’t be surprising if Netflix in turn revealed this behind-the-scenes footage after the fifth season airs Stranger things. For much of the cast, it’s a page in their lives that is turning. Some, like Noah Schnapp, grew up with the show. They just hadabout ten years when the series started and now they are adults. We can therefore understand that after a decade, leaving your characters is a special moment. It remains to be seen whether the public will share his emotion and welcome the ending Stranger things. We answer, hopefully, in 2025.
