A tribute to the cult series
For the nostalgic, The boy of autumn pays homage to the spectacular stunts and somewhat unusual adventures of the original series, known in France as The man who fell at the right time. Although the film modernizes the plot, it preserves this retro spirit which was the charm of the series. With its spectacular chase sequences and explosions worthy of the greatest action films, The boy of autumn manages to mix nostalgic homage and modernity.
To play a stuntman, Ryan Gosling went through extensive training and even performed some of his own stunts. The action scenes, shot using cutting-edge cameras, combine special effects and physical stunts for spectacular results. And for those who know the series, several hidden nods recall the cult moments of the original, as well as numerous homages to cinema.
