Kanye West performs during the main set of Rolling Loud Miami 2022

Kanye West will no longer be performing at Rolling Loud Miami 2022.

Festival organizers announced on social media on Sunday (July 17) that the 45-year-old rapper and fashion mogul, who Ye now leads, will not be attending the opening night of the event on July 22.

“Due to circumstances beyond our control, Ye will no longer be performing at Rolling Loud Miami 2022,” Rolling Loud On twitterand added that Kid Cudi was named as Ye’s replacement.

Rolling Loud co-founders Tariq Sheriff and Matt Zingler further explained the cancellation in the following statement: “We expected Ye to headline Rolling Loud Miami 2022. We’ve been working with him and his team on the show for months. Unfortunately, Yeh has decided that he will not be performing again. This is the first time a headliner has interrupted our show and while we don’t take it lightly, we wish him the best. We look forward to welcoming Kid Cudi headlining to Miami and can’t wait to see what he has in store.”

Ye previously performed at Rolling Loud California 2021 as a special guest, marking her first appearance at the festival since the coronavirus pandemic. The superstar rapper was rumored to be making an appearance at last year’s Rolling Loud Miami, but ultimately decided not to take the stage after his 10th studio album was delayed. Where.

Taking place July 22-24 at Hard Rock Stadium, Rolling Loud Miami is scheduled for performances by Future (July 23) and Kendrick Lamar (July 24). Other featured artists include Playboi Carti, Lil Durk, Lil Uzi Vert, DaBaby, Gucci Mane, Lil Baby, Kodak Black and more.
