Manuel Turizo presents “201”, his fourth studio album, and it somehow pays homage to apartment number 201 where he lived during his childhood in Montería, Colombia.
The album, composed by 12 songsreflects the musical evolution of Turizo, who describes this work as a sonic journey that encompasses urban rhythms, tropical influences and innovative sounds.
“With 201, I wanted to explore new sounds without losing the essence of the music that shaped me,” the singer said.
“201” also stands out for its exciting collaborations with renowned artists. Who is it? Guests include Kapo in the song “Qué Pecao”, Elder Dayán Díaz in “La Ex de Mi Amigo”, Yandel in the explosive “Mamasota” and Grupo Frontera in the hit “De Lunes a Lunes”.
In addition, the album includes the vibrant “Bahamas” with the Spaniard Saiko, and “Yo No Me Vuelo a Enamorar”, with the electronic touch of the Brazilian Alok.
