Released in 2019, The Rise of Skywalker is the last Star Wars to hit the big screen before the Disney+ series. A new character appeared there, Beaumont. His interpreter recently mentioned the future of the latter.

Remember Beaumont Keane’s character from Star Wars 9? This resistance soldier was also a scientist interested in the ways of the Force.

Beaumont, played by Dominic Monaghan, made a brief appearance in The Rise of Skywalker, directed by JJ Abrams.

“It took me a while to get him to play Star Wars, but we finally found a way. It was great to be on set with these iconic characters; it was a lot of fun for me.”he noted.

The artist then speculated about a possible return of his character to the Star Wars universe. “It’s a nice galaxy to be around, and who knows, maybe one day they’ll be telling more stories than Beaumont Keane and I’ll be able to reprise that role.”he confided.

“Many people have told me online that he has appeared in the new Star Wars comics and graphic novels, as well as in the canon novels of the universe.

So Beaumont is still alive and well doing his job… I’m still available if they’re interested.”Wickedly concluded Dominic Monaghan.

While awaiting his hypothetical return to Star Wars, the actor is at the center of the SF series Moonhaven, which airs July 7 on AMC.
