Star Wars 9: You all forgot about this character, but the actor wants to return to the saga

Remember Beaumont Keane’s character from Star Wars 9? This resistance soldier was also a scientist interested in the ways of the Force.

Beaumont, played by Dominic Monaghan, made a brief appearance in The Rise of Skywalker, directed by JJ Abrams.

The latter, who was very friendly with the Lord of the Rings star after his collaboration on Lost, wanted to integrate him into the latest opus of the intergalactic saga.

He, who played the Hobbit Mary in Peter Jackson’s trilogy, recently mentioned his participation in Star Wars.

he asked Sci-Fi Fantasy GazetteThe comedian confirmed his longtime friendship with JJ Abrams.

“It took me a while to get him to play Star Wars, but we finally found a way. It was great to be on set with these iconic characters; it was a lot of fun for me.”he noted.

“I always support JJ’s work because he’s someone I’ve seen up close on set and he’s very talented.”Monaghan continued.

The artist then speculated about a possible return of his character to the Star Wars universe. “It’s a nice galaxy to be around, and who knows, maybe one day they’ll be telling more stories than Beaumont Keane and I’ll be able to reprise that role.”he confided.

“Many people have told me online that he has appeared in the new Star Wars comics and graphic novels, as well as in the canon novels of the universe.

So Beaumont is still alive and well doing his job… I’m still available if they’re interested.”Wickedly concluded Dominic Monaghan.

While awaiting his hypothetical return to Star Wars, the actor is at the center of the SF series Moonhaven, which airs July 7 on AMC.
