Another familiar face has signed up for Disney+ a national treasure Series.
Harvey Keitel will be invited National Treasure: On the Edge of History, a television series based on the film franchise starring Nicolas Cage. He will reprise his role as Peter Sadusky, an FBI agent investigating the theft of the Declaration of Independence. The news was announced Thursday during a panel for the series at Comic-Con in San Diego.
Keitel is the second actor from the films to participate in the series; Justin Barta will also play tech expert Riley Poole.
edge of history Starring Lisette Olivera as Jesse, a brilliant and resourceful dreamer who embarks on the adventure of a lifetime to uncover her family’s mysterious past and rescue a lost Pan-American treasure. The series is described as an “extension” of the film franchise, but has some connection to both films thanks to the presence of Keitel and Bartha.
Along with Olivera, the show also stars Zuri Reid, Antonio Cipriano, Jordan Rodriguez, Jake Austin Walker, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Lyndon Smith.
