Long before he became successful as an actor, David Schwimmer worked as a waiter and took on different jobs for extra income.

David Schwimmerknown for productions such as Friends (1994 – 2004), Madagascar (2005) and War Brothers (2001), revealed that, long before he had a career as an actor, he delivered divorce papers to Rod Stewartsinger of hits like “I Don’t Want to Talk About It” and “Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?” and “Have You Ever Seen the Rain.”

In an interview with The Late Show With Stephen Colbertthe actor recalled the period in which he worked as a waiter in Chicago, where he also took on different jobs to earn extra income. “The summer after my freshman year of college, I was just looking for work,” he said.

“And my mom said, ‘Well, you can be a court clerk for me.’ My mom was a divorce lawyer,” he said. Schwimmer. “So I was the guy who came out of the bushes and served the divorce papers. At the time I was 18 and I’m like James Bond. I’m not James Bond! Because you’re warned about where they might be.”

Once… thank God I never found it again, but I handed it over to Rod Stewart. I don’t even know if he knows. I don’t think he knows.

So the presenter, Stephen Colbertjoked that “he knows now.” Rod Stewart separated from his first wife, Alana Stewartin 1984 (precisely the year in which David Schwimmer turned 18).
