This focuses on a thorny social topic. Because it focuses on several members of a Roman CRS brigadethat they got used to resort to violence in certain situations. These members have just lost their leader, seriously injured following the clashes.
Public disorder follows the arrival within this brigade of a new leader, Michele. The latter believes that unit members who cross the lines of violence represent the old school, and they are the symbol of a system that needs to be reformed. Because of this, tensions appear early inside the unit. But also outside, because public opinion once again demonstrates its dissatisfaction with the institutions.
An encouraging start
If it was not necessarily intended as such, Public disorder it could very well be one of Netflix’s next big hits. In any case, the series works encouraging starts. As shown by the ranking shared by FlixPatrolin Italy, it has arrived at the top of the most watched series on the platform in the two days following its publication online. In these two days she too has integrated top 10 in many other territories.
If its momentum continues, the series created by Filippo Gravino could therefore turn into a success for Netflix. We’ll see if it manages to grab places in the ranking of the most watched shows in territories other than Italy.
Second adaptation of Carlo Bonini’s work
It should be noted Public disorder East based on the novel ACAB, written by Carlo Bonini and released in 2009. Known in particular for having directed some episodes of Gomorrah, Stefano Sollima he had made this film.
Public disorder is divided into six episodes of approximately one hour. These six episodes were all released online on the same date, and are therefore now viewable on Netflix.
