Fede Álvarez wants to offer something new

And he revealed that he and Rodolfo Sayagues were to work on. He then explained that after having brought back many elements of the saga in the last work, now he wanted propose something new :

The director wants a solid idea

The Uruguayan filmmaker, however, warned: he will not offer us a direct sequel to his film that if he and Rodolfo Sayagues can come up with a good idea for the story tell. He says he won’t make the film unless a satisfactory story emerges:

I won’t do it unless we have a really good idea, something worthy of the sequel title.
