The Tunnel : a suffocating closed door in the heart of Norway
The Tunnel (tunnel in the original version) depicts a scenario as simple as it is effective: as Christmas approaches, a tanker has an accident in a nine kilometer tunnel located in a mountainous area, causing a devastating fire.
Travellers, trapped in this dead-end tunnel, must fight for their survival as emergency services struggle to access the premises due to the difficult weather conditions. The film stars Thorbjørn Harr as Stein, a volunteer firefighter whose daughter, Elise, becomes trapped in the burning tunnel. The tension is palpable throughout the film, making for an engaging and stressful experience.
