Event recorded 126 million viewers and surpassed the 2024 audience
THE Super Bowl 2025 became the most watched event in the history of NFL. The departure between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles recorded an average audience of 126 million viewers, adding all transmission platforms, according to data from the FOX and from Nielsen.
The number represents a 2% growth compared to the 2024 Super Bowl, which had 123.7 million viewers. The peak audience took place in the second quarter of the game, before the break show, with 135.7 million viewers between 20h and 20h15.

In the field, the Eagles beat the Chiefs 40-22, winning the second super bowl in the history of the franchise (the first was in 2017). Prior to the unification of federations in the 1970s, the Philadelphia team had already been champion in 1948, 1949 and 1960.
The interval show was commanded by Kendrick Lamarwhich had the participation of SZA, Samuel L. Jackson and the tennis player Serena Williams.
In addition to the musical performance, the Super Bowl also showed unpublished trailers of movies like Fantastic Four: First Steps, Formula 1, JURASSIC WORLD: restart, Smurfs, Thunderbolts and the eighth and last Mission: Impossible.
