In recent years, fans have been preparing to say goodbye to Ben Affleck’s Batman. In August 2020 it was announced that Affleck would be part of director Andy Muschietti’s project. the flashand since then the assumption has been that the film would be the next and last film that audiences would see with the character’s version.
It turns out that things may have changed a lot behind the scenes, as there are now signs that Ben Affleck’s Batman is making something of a cameo in James Wan’s upcoming movie. aquaman and the lost kingdomto be published in early 2023, earlier the flash hits cinemas.
This argument arose because of a somewhat enigmatic message from acquaman 2 stars Jason Momoa instagram. It includes photos of himself dating Ben Affleck somewhere at random, then a video showing a group of people touring the Warner Bros. studios who apparently have uncovered some sort of “secret”. From the video, it appears Jason Momoa and Ben Affleck are currently performing the covers aquaman and the lost kingdom for Warner Bros. reasons, and while there have been attempts to keep the work a secret, it didn’t work as planned due to a studio tour that fell close to the stage at the worst (best?) time possible. In Momoa’s own words,
Well, that’s not a fucking secret anymore, is it? I’m sorry, guys. Here’s what happens, Warner Bros., when you step off the set and our fans are there … well, let’s keep it a secret!
Here’s the question, though: if Jason Momoa had skipped the WB Studio Tour and hadn’t talked about it on social media, would anyone really have believed those people who saw Aquaman and Batman working together in secret ?? This might be the best thing that can happen on a studio tour, so what are the chances of these people’s friends and family taking their word for it? I guess we will never know now.
If this was the real deal, Ben Affleck joins A aquaman and the lost kingdom talented cast. The DC sequel will not only bring back Jason Momoa as the main hero, but also Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson, Dolph Lundren, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Temuera Morrison, Randall Park and Nicole Kidman.
Time acquaman 2 originally slated to be DC’s blockbuster film ending in 2022, that role will be played by David F. Sandberg. Shazam! fury of the godswhich will now be released in theaters first Avatar: The way of water in December (which is why the film skipped San Diego Comic-Con this year). James Wan’s new movie has had its March release date changed and will now be the first DC movie released in 2023, and is currently set to hit theaters on March 17, 2023.
