In less than a month after its debut, the indomitable police suspense accumulated public success and criticism, causing its renewal
Initially produced as a six -episode miniseries, Netflix’s police suspense, starring Eric Bana (Munich), will win a second season.
After the success of the first season – which premiered first on the global list of the 10 best series on the platform on July 14-20 – the information was released exclusively to Variety accompanied by a protagonist message.
“I am absolutely thrilled to have a chance to bring to life another season of Indomitable. The answer to the first season was proof of our team’s incredible effort to deliver something truly unique. I can’t wait to take Kyle on your next journey. A huge thanks to Netflix, John Wells Productions, Warner Bros. Television and our fans. ”
Critics also praised the series, with the first season obtaining 80% approval from Rotten Tomatoes.
What it is about Indomitable?
In the plot, agent Kyle Turner (Eric Bana), Veteran of the National Parks Service, is summoned to investigate the suspicious death of a woman who fell from a cliff to Yosemite. The case, at first treated as an accident, soon reveals signs that something more sinister may be from behind. To resolve the mystery, Turner joins the Naya Vasquez novice Forest Guard (Lily Santiago), and together they plunged into an investigation that exposes secrets from the region – and the protagonist’s own past.
Who’s in the cast?
The cast brings together weight names led by Eric Banawho plays Kyle Turner, the agent in charge of the main investigation. By your side is Lily Santiago (La Brea: The Lost Land), in the role of Naya Vasquez, an incisive and questioning partner.Sam Neill (franchise JURASSIC PARK) gives life to Paul Souter, local boss whose ambiguous posture raises suspicions.
