Henry Cavill’s fate in the DCEU has been the subject of much speculation among superhero fans. Little news about Superman’s future has been released, and Henry Cavill has remained mute on the subject. Fortunately, insiders have heard rumors in Washington about the Man of Steel actor.
In a conversation on Twitter Spaces (via inhabit) between Fandango’s Erik Davis and The Wrap’s Umberto Gonzalez, information was revealed about discussions that would take place in Washington. Discussing the planned projects, Davis asked:
What have you heard about Henry lately? I heard a story that was asked of you and you don’t want to, you don’t want to go back.
While this may be disappointing news for many DCEU fans, it might not come as a surprise either. Henry Cavill has not appeared on a DCEU project sinceJustice League by Zack Snyderand no future Superman movies have been announced at this time, although many are still eagerly awaiting news man of steel 2. However, the door may not be fully closed for Henry Cavill’s return to the DCEU. Umberto González also pointed out.
I’m pretty sure if you’ve felt the right take … I know he likes the current diet like Superman and I think they’ll try … This will probably turn into a story I’m not sure, but I’m pretty sure they might try [get him back]… I could be wrong, I just don’t think they had a chance of him coming back. But again, all of this is subject to whoever is the new DC guy who oversees the universe and this committee and whoever answers David Zaslav. It’s been nearly ten years since we saw him in Man of Steel. But what to say, personally, I don’t think it’s over yet.

Ben Affleck is said to have appeared in both. aquaman and the fallen kingdomas well as Andy Muschietti rapid, reprising the role of Bruce Wayne. He participated in both projects after it was announced that Affleck had announced that he would hang the cloak.
Unsurprisingly, Henry Cavill is worried about returning to the role of Superman in the DCEU. His tenure as Superman had been plagued with problems. Shooting conditions during the filming of Joss Whedon Justice League this had previously sparked controversy and questions about the leadership of the DCEU. Also, the infamous CGI mustache removal debacle during Justice LeagueIt would leave a sour taste in anyone’s mouth (no pun intended).
Well, I’m still waiting for the return of Man of Steel actor to give the cape another chance, but in the meantime Netflix subscribers can watch Henry Cavill in the popular fantasy series, The sorcererstreaming now.
