‘Som na Sala’ program premieres today on Canal BIS

Program presented by Raquel promotes relaxed musical meetings in a living room atmosphere, with a repertoire chosen by the artists themselves and moments of improvisation

THE BIS Channel launches this Wednesday, 8th, at 9pm, the new program Sound in the Roompresented by the singer Rachel. Recorded at the producer’s house Anna Butlerin São Paulo, the intimate format promotes relaxed musical meetings in a living room atmosphere. At the premiere, the hostess welcomes the singer Samuel Rosa and your son Juliano Alvarenga on the couch, talking about music.

In each episode, a pair of guests sit next to Rachel to play repertoire chosen by them, without rigid scripts. The atmosphere is one of total creative freedom, with songs often presented in new versions and live improvisations.

The program will feature a diverse lineup, bringing together established artists and emerging talents in duos that represent different musical styles. In addition to the debut duo, Arnaldo Antunes and Kiko Dinucci, MC Hariel and Rael, Catto and Beto Bruno (vocalist of Big Dog) and the musician couple Anelis Assumpção and Curumim will also participate in the program.

The program director, José Francisco Tapajóshighlighted the spontaneity of the presentations: “You can even see the Arnaldo Antunes in another musical project, but so at ease, singing samba and creating a song right there, made especially for the program, only here.” For Rachelthe intimate environment is fundamental. She explains that “music has always been linked to intimacy” and that the show in her living room “is also an encounter, an exchange that humanizes the artist”.

In addition to the music, the production focuses on exchanging confidences and the typical relaxation of a circle of friends at home. Each guest takes on the repertoire, making the program a kind of alternative scenario in which the public can see the artist more closely.

Sound in the Room premieres today, 8th, at 9pm on Canal BIS with weekly episodes on Wednesdays and, after airing on TV, the programs will be available on the platform Globoplay.
