cazzu continues to set the pulse of Latin urban pop. After selling three Arena stadiums in Buenos Aires, the artist from Jujuy did his “Latinaje” tour in Montevideowhere he transformed the Summer Theater into a show combining theatricality, emotion and dazzling visual proposition.
During more than an hour and a half show, Cazzu presented for the first time in Uruguay his new album “Latinaje”, structured in four acts that fuse music, performance, visuals and a unique cinematic aesthetic.
Accompanied by a group of 14 musicians, The singer addressed different facets of her artistic universe: from vulnerability to the provocative force that characterizes it.
The Uruguayan audience witnessed an intense musical journey, with songs like “Odiame”, “Me tocó seguir” and “Piensame” in an intimate opening, followed by an avalanche of rhythms with anthems like “Mala Suerte”, “Engreído”, “Dolce” and “Mucha Data”.
One of the most moving moments came with his homage to Latin American roots, performing “La Cueva,” “Copla” and “Quien va a canto” by Rubén Rada. It was a nod to the Uruguayan soul and the essence of its “Latinaje” project: uniting the ancestral with the contemporary in the same artistic heartbeat.
The closing, with “Tú y tú”, “Tasting Menu” and “Con Otra”, was a collective celebration under the sky of Montevideo. With Latinaje, Cazzu shows that she is at her best: free, powerful and more authentic than ever.
