Apple TV + today released the first official trailer of A beer in front (original title The Best Beer Run Ever), new original film starring Zac Efron And Russell Crowe which will be released on the platform on September 30th.
To show his support for friends from the neighborhood serving in Vietnam, Chickie Donohue (Zac Efron) decided to do something really crazy: go alone to the front to bring the soldiers a little piece of home, their favorite beer. What begins as a journey of good intentions quickly turns into the adventure of a lifetime as Chickie confronts the reality of this controversial war and the reunion of her childhood comrades thrusts her into the complexities and responsibilities of being adult Based on an incredible true story, the film is a heartfelt story about friendship, loyalty and sacrifice.
From an idea of Skydance Mediathe script is derived from Peter Farrelly, Brian Currie And Pete Jones and based on the book “The Greatest Beer Run Ever: A Memoir of Friendship, Loyalty and War”from Joanna Molloy And John “Chickie” Donohue, which became a New York Times best seller when, after being published in 2020, this travel story sparked the interest of various media and programs. Producers are David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Don Granger on behalf of Skydance, along with Andrew Muscato and Jake Myers.
