The diplomat is back on Netflix
The particularly gripping plot of The diplomat has been followed by many Netflix subscribers since the first season of the show. Released in 2023, this introduced us Kate Wylera politician by name US Ambassador to the UK in the midst of an international crisis and forced to face the additional situation his tumultuous marriage with Hal, another brilliant politician.
Drawing on intelligent writing and impeccable performances, The diplomat premiered its second season at the end of October 2024. And, less than a year later, the series created by Deborah Cahn he’s already back. Why this Thursday 16 October, Netflix has released its entire third season.
Kate must face the Grace Penn administration and a new threat
The new season of The diplomat resumes after the terrible cliffhanger that occurred at the end of the previous chapter. Shocked by the news he was told, President Rayburn is dead of a heart attack. After establishing herself as Kate’s enemy, Grace Penn then took her place and is now the President of the United States.

With Hal’s help, Kate will be forced to get to work quickly prevent Grace Penn from being damaged. She too will have to make do a new threat that could have disastrous consequences for the world. Season 4 has already been ordered
The main players of the The diplomat they are all back in this third season. We find it so Keri Russell AND Rufus Sewell in the roles of Kate and Hal, and Allison Janney in that of Grace Penn. Around them, Ato Essandoh, Ali Ahn, David Gyasi AND Rory Kinnear they are still there to play Stuart Heyford, Eidra Graham, Nicol Trowbridge and Austin Dennison.
While the second season was shorter with six episodes, the third installment of The diplomat it is as long as the first. It matters eight episodes. As we informed you last May, Netflix has already decided to give the series away for free a season 4. Again, all the main actors of the show are expected to return for this sequel.
