Botta presents “Amor treicionero”, the first preview of his second albumwhich marks the beginning of a new sonic and emotional stage in the artist’s career.
“Treasonable Love” explores this universal story of loves that we know are impossible but which, despite this, destroy everything.
With a performance full of emotion and a modern production, Botta manages to capture the contradiction between desire and reason in a melody that combines vulnerability and strength.
“When I first heard the song, I knew it was about something that had been going through me,” the musician said, “this treacherous love that you know is wrong, that it’s going to end badly, but you can’t handle it. This desire so strong that you can’t stop it. I think that’s happened to all of us at some point.”
The release is accompanied by a music video that reinforces the intense pulse of the lyrics, with a cinematic aesthetic that reflects the tension between the pleasure and pain of a love lived to the limit.
For those who want to see him live, Botta will perform this Tuesday, November 4, from 8 p.m., at Bebop (Uriarte 1658).
