While Jon Watts became one of the fan favorite MCU directors thanks to Tom Holland Spiderman trilogy, another familiar face is reportedly in talks to take on the role. According to Term, Vision of Wanda producer / director Matt Shakman might be the lucky one.
Given the great popularity of Vision of Wandathe news that Matt Shakman is in talks to direct Fantastic Four it sure will be exciting. While not confirmed yet, it has demonstrated its ability to support complicated hardware within the MCU. And what could be more complicated than bringing a team of beloved heroes into the shared universe for the first time?
Vision of Wanda kicked off Phase Four of the MCU and was the first show to arrive on Disney +. Despite its bold concept, it became a smash hit that also garnered 23 Primetime Emmy nominations, winning three.
