Michael Keaton played the characters of the two greatest superhero franchises in the world. During his career he played crime fighter Bruce Wayne / Batman in the Burtonverse movies and played the Marvel villain vulture Spider-Man: Homecoming. But despite stepping foot into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the 70-year-old star says he has never seen a Marvel movie.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe is one of the most successful film franchises, with 29 films released and more on the way. As popular as these blockbusters are, Michael Keaton said Variety I’ve never seen a full Marvel movie before. the actor said
I know people don’t believe it, I’ve never seen a full version of any of these movies, no Marvel movies, no other. And I’m not saying I don’t watch it because I’m an intellectual, believe me! That’s not it. It’s just that there is very little that I look at. I start watching something and I think it’s great and I watch three episodes, but I have other things to do!
It makes sense that Michael Keaton hasn’t seen any of the Marvel movies when you consider the length of many blockbusters. MCU adventures can feel like spending an entire night with the characters, with ending of the Avengers being the longest Marvel movie to date with over three hours and Thor: love and thunder being one of the shortest. You would definitely need to space out your schedule to have time to watch these superhero movies.
Michael Keaton made his Marvel debut in spiderman: homecoming as the villain Adrian Toomes aka. Vulture. According to the Oscar nominee, The vulture wasn’t your standard supervillain. where you might understand his intentions and relate to him in some way. His original business was not to create and arm Chitauri technology to sell it on the black market or be a killer, but to clean up the sites of destruction so he could put food on his family’s table. . Keaton enjoyed working with Marvel. for all the effort they put into their films, as well as for their talented cast and script. He told Variety that no one would have known how much great superhero movies would grow today since he first played Batman in the late 1980s.
Power not having seen the reappearance of Michael Keaton’s Vulture in Spider-Man: Away from home This is Spider-Man: No homecomingbut he did a surprise appearance in a post-credits Morbio stage . This could mean that we will have more Vultures in the future, but not in the MCU (unless it takes another trip through the multiverse).
Michael Keaton may not have seen an entire Marvel movie, but we can still expect him to make good use of his acting talent in the superhero world as a hero or foe. . Until the Vulture returns to make another appearance, we’ll have to make do with seeing Keaton. Dress up in his memorable Batman costume for the flash . The audience will be delighted to hear the cockroach juice the actor claims to be famous lines again. Hopefully one of those lines is “… I’m Batman!”
you can see spiderman: homecoming on Starz and stay up to date wonder movie coming soon you will then be the first to know when the Vulture will return to your screens.
