Aquaman 2’s Yahya Abdul-Mateen II explains how he makes superhero movies real as an actor

The actor recently talked about how he continues to make his role in the comics on set “real”.

There is a basis on Black Manta that Abdul-Mateen has captured, probably due to this approach he brings to the sets.

While Black Manta’s Return was previously slated to hit theaters in the spring of 2023, aquaman and the lost kingdom was recently postponed to December 2023, making the sequel wait for over a year. The move comes as Warner Bros. is facing many behind-the-scenes changes following its recent merger with Discovery and the change of CEO.

The aquatic man Filming for the sequel wrapped in January, and along the way, the actor shared his transformation of the body of the Black Manta as the ruthless pirate and his Atlantean costume prepare to face Jason Momoa’s superhero.
