Sydney Sweeney was the highlight of the second season of euphoria (2019). The actress plays Cassie Howard — but finds it “frustrating” to be recognized by the public as “that girl from Euphoria.”
the series of HBO was responsible for boosting the actress’s career, but it was not the only successful project from which Sweeney participated. With that, the star commented, in an interview with the magazine tmwr, about how euphoria ended up overshadowing his other works.
“It’s very funny because of the strength that is euphoria, many people haven’t looked at the projects I’ve done before. People will say ‘that girl from euphoria’ or ‘of course she shows her tits’, things like that. When literally a few months before I did The Handmaid’s Tale and Sharp Objectsand before that Everything Sucks!. All these characters are so different, but they don’t associate me with those shows, so it can be frustrating,” he explained. Sweeney.
In addition, the actress commented on how she started her acting career when she was still a teenager. “I mean, I’ve been doing this since I was 13, and nobody cared who I was… It’s been a lot of hard work and I’ll never stop trying to work harder,” she concluded.
Euphoria: Season 3
After the last few episodes, euphoria broke audience records for the first year and also became the second most watched series in HBOlosing only to Game of Thrones (2011). The production has been renewed for a third season, which is scheduled to premiere in 2024.
