Universal Pictures today released the final trailer and poster for Halloween is overthe final chapter of the famous slasher film saga Halloween born from the brilliant mind of John Carpenter. The film, again directed by David Gordon Greenwill arrive in Italian cinemas on 13 October 2022.

This is the last battle of Laurie Strode. After 45 years, the most lauded and revered horror franchise in film history comes to its epic and terrifying conclusion: Laurie Strode faces the incarnation of evil one last time, Michael Myers, in a showdown unlike any other seen on screen. Only one of them will survive.

The icon Jamie Lee Curtis returns one last time as Laurie Strode, horror’s first “last woman” and the role that launched Curtis’ career. Curtis played Laurie for more than forty years, one of the longest actor-character pairings in film history. When the franchise relaunched in 2018, Halloween broke box office records, becoming the franchise’s highest-grossing chapter and setting a new record for the biggest opening weekend for a female-starring horror film.

Synopsis:

Four years after the events of Halloween Kills last year, Laurie was living with her niece Allyson (Andi Matichak) and he is finishing writing his memoirs. Michael Myers has not been seen since. Laurie, after allowing Michael’s ghost to define and guide her reality for decades, decides to let go of fear and anger and embrace life. But as a young man, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell; The Hardy Boys, Virgin River), accused of murdering a boy in his care, unleashes violence and fear that will force Laurie to finally face the evil beyond her control, once and for all . .

Halloween is over the cast sees the return of Patton as Agent Frank Hawkins, Kyle Richards in the role of Lindsey Wallace e James Jude Courtney in the paper “The Shape”.
