UTA has signed Deadfellaz, an NFT project with owners including Reese Witherspoon, Lionel Ritchie, Steve Aok, Dillon Francis and Alexis Ohanyan, with representation in all areas.
Like other generative NFT art collections like CryptoPunks and Bored Apes that contain the profile pictures of previous characters with different characteristics, the Deadfellaz project has a collection of 10,000 different NFT zombie characters. Owners of Deadfellaz NFT, dubbed the “Horde”, gain access to virtual events and new collections, among other benefits. The collection, with a market capitalization of $38 million, will be sold on the Ethereum blockchain and has raised 26,300 ETH, or about $80 million based on sales, according to OpenSea.
The collection launched in August of last year and was co-created by two people who played “Betty” and “Psych”. UTA’s signing follows other major NFT art projects such as Larva Labs’ CryptoPunks, Meebits and Autoglyphs collections to join the agency’s shortlist.

UTA will work with the co-founders of Deadfellaz as they look to expand the project through other media such as brand partnerships, merchandising, gaming and live events.
