Smokehouse Pictures, a production company founded by George Clooney and Grant Heslow, has signed a multi-project development deal with Audible for original audio projects.
“We’ve both been passionate listeners for many years and couldn’t be happier to partner with Audible to create original content exclusively for this excellent service,” Clooney and Heslow said in a joint statement.
Smokehouse was founded in 2006 by Clooney and Heslov, who created films such as argo, marching insights s Good night and good luck! In addition to television series such as About Becoming God in Central Florida.
The Smokehouse partnership will be followed by several deals Audible has made with companies like Jaywalker Pictures by Laura Dern and Jayme Lemons, Khalabo Ink Society by Kenya Barris, Flavor Unit by Queen Latifah and Shakim Compere, Team Coco by Conan O’Brien, Unani by Steph Curry. Kevin Hart HartBeat Productions, Charlamagne the God’s CThaGod World Productions and LeBron James and Maverick Carter’s SpringHill.
