5 “healthy” foods that prevent you from losing weight: you should know them!

Want to lose weight? There are several “healthy” foods that you should avoid.

They seem dietary, but in fact they only interfere with weight loss. That’s why “cheaters” have no place in your fridge.

Low fat products

Some diets are based on fat reduction, and people who just count calories usually scour the shelves for the coveted “0% fat” label.

But replacing regular cottage cheese with low-fat is not worth it. The fact is that many hormones – estrogen, progesterone, testosterone – our body synthesizes from animal fats.

If they don’t, you run the risk of a hormone deficiency. And such a problem threatens to gain excess weight, and you will not be able to achieve the desired harmony, no matter how hard you try.

Granola and muesli

Granola and muesli have become one of the most popular breakfasts: followers of a healthy lifestyle believe that a mixture of oatmeal, nuts and seeds is very useful. But they are not worth eating for two reasons. First, a small portion that fits in a cup contains a large number of calories: 450 to 600.

Second, granola and muesli are processed foods that use flour and sugar. The carbs they contain are inherently “empty” – they will bring no benefit and will only settle in ugly folds on the hips and waist.

Fresh juice

Any girl who follows the principles of proper nutrition knows that it is better not to drink packaged juice, since sugar is always added to it. But people often consider fresh juices as useful and “ok”, but to no avail!

When you juice, you throw away valuable fiber and leave only fruit sugar behind, which increases hunger pangs. Also, to get a glass of juice, you use a lot more fruits or vegetables than you would eat just like that.

Protein bars

Everyone knows that to lose weight you have to eat a lot of protein. It’s just choking on a chicken breast is very sad, and therefore many fitness enthusiasts buy protein bars. This product sounds like a great snack – after all, one serving can have 30-40 grams of pure protein!

But we don’t need the protein itself, but the amino acids that make it up. You can only get a full set of these by using different protein sources. Therefore, you should not rely on bars – it is better to eat a few eggs, half a packet of cottage cheese or bean salad instead.

The health benefits of avocados are talked about all the time. More often than not, nutritionists tout the “good” saturated fats it contains. However, there is a “but” that is rarely mentioned: this fruit contains a lot of tyramine, which turns into norepinephrine, the stress hormone. The same, in turn, slows down the process of weight loss or causes weight gain.
