Spanish singer Aitana has released a new live edit music video for her hit song Superestrella using concert and backstage footage.

The release comes as the Barcelona-born artist expands her international push following the success of the track, which reached number one on the Spanish radio station Cadena 100.
Aitana, who first rose to prominence on the Spanish television talent show Operacion Triunfo, has established herself as one of Spain's leading pop artists. Cadena 100 is one of the country's major music radio networks.
International strategy and new team
The strategy to expand her music globally gained momentum a few months ago when Aitana added Nuria Carrera to her management team as her new personal assistant.
Carrera's professional background signalled a deliberate effort to push the artist into the English-language music market. While Aitana has been established on Latin music circuits for years, her team viewed Carrera as a key figure in making the crossover into Anglo markets.
The song Superestrella has served as the core musical driver behind this international expansion effort, providing the momentum needed to break into broader markets.

World Cup anthem and Cibeles celebration
The hit track is included on the tracklist of her album Cuarto Azul. Aitana has been performing the song during her concert tour across various cities in Spain before taking her live show overseas to the Americas.
Superestrella gained massive public prominence when it was played inside stadiums following every victory by the Spanish national football team during the World Cup. The track eclipsed other stadium anthems during the tournament, including Shakira's song Dai Dai.
The song also served as the closing anthem for the national victory celebrations held on July 20 at Madrid's iconic Plaza de Cibeles public square.
Live edit video features backstage moments
Capitalising on the song's momentum, Aitana released the live edit visual to showcase the energy of her live performances. The track already had an official music video released a year ago, which has accumulated more than 30 million views on YouTube.
The new release incorporates live concert footage depicting audience reactions alongside behind-the-scenes moments with her touring crew.
YouTube comments reflect fan support
The release has been met with widespread approval from Aitana's multi-million fan community. Industry observers note that the singer is known for taking well-advised steps in her musical career while keeping her fanbase engaged.
Feedback left under the new YouTube video reflects strong audience enthusiasm. One fan commented that the release felt like a music video for all her followers, while another wrote that they had always known Aitana was a superstar.
Another listener stated that they had been in love with Superestrella since hearing it during the World Cup, while a follower declared that no one could strip Aitana of her position as the country's pop princess.
One long-time supporter reflected on watching Aitana transform from a smiling and lost 18-year-old girl into a beloved media superstar. Another viewer noted that they were not following a trend, having loved the track since May 2025 when they first heard it.
Additional comments called the live edit version crazy, while one user asked whether they could boast about appearing in the video footage. Another fan expressed hope for a future remix featuring Spanish singer Amaia, and one listener added that it made them happy to see Aitana's team enjoying their work and sharing a close bond.
