AJ Odudu is reportedly in talks to appear on this year's series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, after ITV shelved two other shows she was due to host.

The 38-year-old presenter is said to have found extra space in her schedule after Celebrity Big Brother and M&S: Dress the Nation were both dropped by the broadcaster.

AJ will still present the civilian series of Big Brother alongside Will Best when it returns on September 13, but she is now said to have more time available to take on a stint in the jungle.

A source told The Sun: 'Once AJ's Big Brother working dates were secured, she put herself into the frame for I'm A Celebrity. She's had early conversations about taking part and has made it clear she can absolutely make the dates they need her to.'

The source added: 'AJ loves the show and would love facing the Bushtucker Trials.'

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! is ITV's long-running reality series in which celebrities live in the Australian jungle and take part in Bushtucker Trials, with the show hosted by Ant and Dec.

ITV plays down the speculation

An ITV spokesman said: 'Any names suggested for I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! are pure speculation.' AJ's representative has been approached for comment.

Why Celebrity Big Brother was axed

ITV reportedly axed Celebrity Big Brother because of the challenge of securing celebrities of the right calibre, with stars said to be favouring Celebrity Traitors over the reality format.

Dress the Nation also cancelled

AJ's other show, M&S: Dress the Nation, which she hosted alongside Vernon Kay, has also been axed after two series, which aired in 2024 and last year.

An ITV spokeswoman said at the time: 'Following two series of Dress the Nation, unfortunately we won't be commissioning another at this time. However, we look forward to continuing our work with M&S and South Shore this summer on the sixth series of Cooking with the Stars and the fourth series of Tom Kerridge Cooks.'

Chloe Burrows in advanced talks

Meanwhile, Chloe Burrows is reportedly in advanced talks to join this year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! The former Love Island star, 30, who found fame on the ITV2 dating show in 2021, is said to have met show bosses several times and left them impressed.

If she does head into the jungle, her signing would follow the successes of fellow influencers including Angry Ginge and GK Barry.

Chloe reached the Love Island final alongside her then partner, Toby Aromolaran, and has since built a television and radio career, including stints on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, Scared of the Dark and Celebs Go Dating. She also has her own podcast and co-hosts the Kiss Breakfast show with Tyler West.

Other names rumoured for the jungle

A string of other stars have already been rumoured for this year's line-up, including Gavin & Stacey actress Joanna Page, presenter Ade Adepitan and Olympic ice-skating legend Christopher Dean.

Launch date pushed back for football clash

It comes as the launch date for the new series of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! has reportedly been pushed back to avoid clashing with a major sporting event.

The ITV series is set to return this autumn, and typically kicks off on a Sunday in mid-November. Sources now claim the newest series has been delayed to start on a Monday instead, after ITV secured the rights to the UEFA Nations League.

The tournament kicks off on September 24, with England set to play World Cup winners Spain on Sunday, November 15. Kick-off in Madrid is due at 8.45pm, just 15 minutes before I'm A Celebrity would usually air.

It is thought the new series will instead begin on Monday, November 16, 2026.

A source told The Sun: 'Now ITV has the rights to the UEFA Nations League bosses have had to go back to the drawing board.'

A second insider added: 'Bosses have pulled out all the stops to ensure this year's IAC launch show is must-see TV. Following the huge success of this year's World Cup, bosses are overjoyed to have such a stellar lineup of entertainment and sport this autumn on ITV.'
