Alex Jones has shared photos from her family sailing trip across the Ionian islands of Greece alongside her husband Charlie Thomson and their three children.
The 49-year-old presenter of The One Show posted a collection of holiday pictures on Instagram on Monday, giving followers a glimpse into their summer break aboard a yacht. In one snap, Jones embraced her shirtless husband as they soaked up the sunshine. Thomson, an insurance broker, wore khaki shorts, while Jones opted for a black swimsuit paired with multicolour shorts and sunglasses.
In another photo from the trip, the Welsh presenter wore a scoop back green swimsuit while posing next to her two sons.
Further images in the holiday album showed the couple sitting on the boat deck and grinning at the camera in a black and white photo. Additional shots captured their three children enjoying the water, with the youngsters leaping off the vessel into the sea.
Jones explained in her caption that this was the family's first sailing holiday together. She revealed that they took part in a flotilla during what she described as an incredible trip, and praised their skipper as the kindest and most capable woman.

Back in June, Jones revealed that Thomson had considered moving back to his native New Zealand during the early stages of their relationship. The couple celebrated ten years of marriage together over New Year in Auckland, New Zealand, where they spent a week on the beach with their children. Jones expressed how grateful she was that Thomson chose to stay in the UK so they could build a life together.
Auckland is the largest city in New Zealand, situated on the North Island between the Waitemata and Manukau harbors. It is famous for its coastal geography, public beaches, and maritime lifestyle.
Reflections on marriage and motherhood
Gracing the cover of Women & Home's August issue, Jones spoke openly about her relationship and her decision to start a family in her late thirties. Women & Home is a monthly British lifestyle magazine covering relationships, health, fashion, and interviews with notable media figures.
"I feel proud that Charlie and I made our marriage work. We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary in Auckland over New Year," Jones said in the interview.
"We spent the week on the beach with the kids and it made me take stock. When we were first dating, there was a question mark over whether he'd go back to New Zealand, but he decided to stay," she added.
"I'm grateful he did that for me and that we're able to raise our children here."
Motherhood and turning 50
Ahead of her 50th birthday next year, the television presenter reflected on welcoming her first child Teddy when she was 39 years old. She shared that she felt like she had children at the right time in her life.
"I feel like I had kids at the right time. I'm a big fatalist and think that what's meant for you will come your way. I forget that sometimes, and I have moments when I'm like, 'Why didn't it happen sooner?' but I think things happen when you're ready," she explained.
"We could have had children sooner, but I wouldn't change our decision to wait. Life is an opportunity to make the best of everything."
She continued: "Charlie and I had travelled, bought our first house, and we were in a good place and ready. People say, 'You'll look back on this and hanker for these days.'"
"I already know how lucky I am to have kids at this age, and it's amazing. All of the mundane stuff, the WhatsApp groups, the running around, and the 50 million water bottles you can never find lids for."
"I think, 'Imagine if it was quiet in the house?' The noise and the pace and the rhythm of it is what makes you feel vital and alive. I appreciate it so much."
