Russian fashion stylist Alexander Rogov said in a new interview that he has no fear of getting old and still feels 25 years old in his soul.

Alexander Rogov Says He Has No Fear of Getting Old at 45

Stylist and television presenter Alexander Rogov has declared that he has no fear of getting old as he reached the age of 45, in an interview published by the Russian lifestyle media outlet Lady Mail.

The fashion expert stated that he maintains a completely normal attitude toward aging. He explained that trying to run away from one's age is foolish because growing older is an inevitable process that affects everyone.

According to Rogov, every person matures, ages, and undergoes physical changes over the course of time. He noted that he does not celebrate his birthday as a general rule and chooses not to focus on numbers or chronological age.

The presenter admitted that whenever he happens to remember his current age of 45, he experiences a brief three-second period of shock and stupor. He explained that mentally he feels between 25 and 30 years old at most, describing himself as remaining young at heart.

Style expert and television career

The interview was published by Lady Mail in its lifestyle section. Lady Mail is a major Russian online publication focused on women's lifestyle, fashion trends, celebrity updates, and personal beauty advice.

Rogov has built a prominent career in the media as one of Russia's most recognized fashion stylists and television hosts. He is best known for leading makeover television programs, providing wardrobe transformations, and regularly delivering commentary on current fashion trends.

In addition to sharing personal reflections, Rogov frequently offers candid opinions on the style choices of high-profile celebrities. In July, the stylist publicly expressed disappointment with an outfit worn by Russian supermodel Irina Shayk during a public appearance.

Critique of celebrity fashion choices

Shayk had chosen a light satin dress created by the luxury fashion label The Row for her outing. She paired the gown with sandals and a statement necklace featuring a massive blue stone, a combination that Rogov found unsatisfactory.

The Row is an American luxury fashion house founded in 2006 by designers Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. The brand is celebrated globally for its minimalist aesthetic, fine tailoring, and quiet luxury designs.

Shayk, who was born in Russia, is an internationally acclaimed fashion model who has walked for top global fashion houses and appeared on cover issues of major fashion magazines worldwide. Despite her status, Rogov did not hesitate to critique her ensemble as part of his ongoing fashion commentary.
