A new Russian series based on Alice in Wonderland premiered on August 2, with all six episodes available immediately on the streaming platform KION.
Titled Alice in Wonderland: Mad Adventures, the project is described as an expanded version of the 2025 film of the same name. The story follows a 15-year-old schoolgirl named Alice who falls into a Wonderland where the sun never moves and time does not exist. There she recognises family members, acquaintances and friends, but none of them recognise her. To return home, she must navigate a series of obstacles and strange encounters.
The series includes scenes that were cut from the original film. Director Yuri Khmelnitsky, known for Ice 3, leads the project. The cast includes Anna Peresild, Milosh Bikovic, Paulina Andreeva, Irina Gorbacheva and Sergei Burunov.
