Brazilian singer Anitta, 31, has announced that her 2027 pre-carnival concert tour, Ensaios da Anitta, will feature the theme Festas do Brasil.
The upcoming show series is designed to celebrate the rich cultural diversity of regional festivities across Brazil. Speaking about the concept, Anitta explained that Brazilians know how to throw a party, adding that people across the country do not celebrate in the same way twice because there is no single Brazilian festival, but many.
She stated that the 2027 concerts will honor celebrations from across the nation, spanning traditional elements from frevo music to the trio elétrico sound trucks, bate-bola costumed characters to decorative ribbons, and street drums to the main parade avenue. Under the theme, the singer plans to showcase distinct regional traditions, including Pernambuco's frevo and the Amazonian folk performance boi-bumbá.
Ticket sales and website
An early ticket presale reserved for Mercado Pago credit card holders will open on September 1 at 12 p.m. noon local time. General public sales will begin the following day, September 2, although an exact opening time has not yet been announced. All tickets will be sold online through the ticketing website Ingresso.com.
The Ensaios da Anitta project originally launched in 2019 as a single concert inspired by American singer Mariah Carey. Over the following years, the pre-carnival show expanded into a multi-city national tour that eventually traveled overseas to Portugal. Past tour editions have featured themes such as Guerreiras, Cosmos, and Maratona de Jogação.
Recent projects and album
Earlier this year, Anitta toured with her Equilibrium stage show, which highlights her double album of the same name. That record marked her return to traditional Brazilian rhythms and celebrated Afro-Brazilian religious roots.
Anitta, whose full name is Larissa de Macedo Machado, is one of Brazil's most prominent international recording artists. Her pre-carnival performances serve as high-energy warm-up concerts in the weeks leading up to Brazil's national Carnival celebrations, which feature street parties and parades throughout the country.
