Anne Hathaway appeared close to welcoming her third child as she stepped out for a walk in New York City on Monday, cradling her baby bump during a stroll near Central Park.
The 43-year-old actress wore a white t-shirt that accentuated her protruding stomach, paired with black high-waisted pants and chunky sneakers. She shielded her face with sunglasses and a baseball cap as she walked.

Hathaway is best known for starring in The Devil Wears Prada and has been married to husband Adam Shulman since 2012. The couple already have two sons together, Jonathan, 10, and Jack, six.

Pregnancy announcement and packed film slate
Hathaway confirmed her third pregnancy in June, during the press tour for The Devil Wears Prada 2, after having concealed her baby bump throughout earlier promotional appearances. She shared the news with an Instagram reel set to Barbara Lewis's song "Baby, I'm Yours."
The announcement came as fans had already begun calling Hathaway the "enemy of unemployment" after she revealed another new film role, having already appeared in five movies this year. She recently confirmed she will star alongside Tom Cruise in Days of Thunder 2, due in theaters in summer 2028.
This year alone, Hathaway has starred in Mother Mary, The Devil Wears Prada 2, The Odyssey and The End of Oak Street, with Verity set for release next month.
On becoming a mother again in her 40s
Speaking to Access Hollywood about conceiving in her 40s, Hathaway said, "There's always hope until there's not, but when you get to a certain age, that hope looks like one percent to two percent. So we just decided to see where life took us, with a very, very healthy, realistic expectation, which was very low."

"We're overjoyed because we just know from personal experience that not everybody gets this, and certainly not when you want it, sometimes not ever," she added.
In April, after being named People magazine's Most Beautiful Woman, Hathaway reflected on her earlier pregnancies. "I know that not everybody who wants to be a parent gets to be. I'm just blown away by how fortunate I am," she said. "It went really well for me twice, and that's really lucky."
Trolls accused her of faking her pregnancy
Last month, Hathaway faced online rumors that she was faking her pregnancy after critics claimed her baby bump looked artificial at the Los Angeles premiere of The End of Oak Street.

Hathaway hit back at the claims on Instagram, writing, "Fake hair, real bump. Enjoy The End Of Oak Street Block Party chaos with me as my outfit literally melts in the heat!!"
Verity hits theaters next month
Hathaway's next film, Verity, is set for a theatrical release on October 2. The psychosexual thriller also stars Dakota Johnson and Josh Hartnett and was released by Amazon MGM Studios, with a trailer that debuted in April showing an intense kiss between Hathaway and Johnson.
The film is adapted from the Colleen Hoover novel of the same name, with a screenplay by Nick Antosca and direction by Michael Showalter. It follows Lowen Ashleigh, a down-on-her-luck writer who is offered an unexpected lifeline.
Hathaway plays Verity Crawford, a successful thriller writer left debilitated by a mysterious accident, whose husband Jeremy, played by Hartnett, hires Lowen to ghostwrite her final books. Once at the couple's estate, Lowen finds an unfinished manuscript that threatens to expose dark secrets from Verity and Jeremy's past, leaving her to determine whether the writings are fiction or a warning from a dangerous woman.
