Antena 3 led Spanish television on Saturday with an average 11.9% share, outpacing its nearest competitors by 4.3 and 2.3 percentage points respectively.
The channel topped the post-lunch slot with a 19.7% share, the afternoon with 12.4%, and prime time with 9.7%. Its news programs and entertainment formats claimed the most-watched positions throughout the day.
The post-lunch news edition anchored by Matias Prats recorded its best summer performance, drawing more than 1.9 million average viewers and a 23.7% share. It beat its closest rival by 16.4 points and reached more than 2.8 million unique viewers. The prime time news edition also led its slot with a 14% share, its best result since May 9.
Game show La Ruleta de la Suerte, hosted by Jorge Fernandez and Laura Moure, posted its strongest weekend figure in nearly a year with a 20.9% share and more than 1.4 million average viewers. The show finished as the most watched program of the day, leading its timeslot rivals by 15.5 and 9.5 points.
In prime time, Atrapa un Millon, presented by Manel Fuentes, won its slot with an 8.2% share and nearly 600,000 average viewers.
On sister channel Neox, the film U.S. Marshals was the most watched non-sports broadcast of the day with a 3.3% share and 255,000 average viewers. Atreseries also recorded its best Saturday since May with a 2.2% share.
On laSexta, the afternoon news program laSexta Noticias 14H drew 574,000 average viewers and a 9.1% share, its best weekend result in four months. Talk show laSexta Xplica, presented by Veronica Sanz, achieved its best figure in nearly two months with a 5.6% share and 328,000 average viewers.
