"Aruser@s," the morning show hosted by Alfonso Arús on Spanish channel laSexta, will begin its ninth consecutive season on Monday, 24 August. The program will keep its usual four-hour live format and will also expand into a new weekend edition starting 5 September.
The weekend spin-off, called "Aruser@s Weekend," will be hosted by Hans Arús and will air on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

laSexta is one of the free-to-air channels operated by Atresmedia, the Spanish media group. "Aruser@s" mixes news updates with satirical commentary and has become a fixture of the channel's morning schedule.
A weekend expansion built on strong ratings
The move to weekends is meant to build on the show's performance during the week, where it has become the preferred option among viewers of private Spanish channels. The program averaged a 13.6% audience share over the past year, according to the report.
It has found a particularly loyal audience among viewers aged 35 to 64, and has posted leading figures in its early morning segment known as "El Humorning."
Who makes up the show's team
The program will keep its usual ensemble format. Alongside host Alfonso Arús and executive producer Angie Cárdenas, the core team will again include Tatiana Arús, Paula Silvestre, Elena Godessart, Marc Llobet, Arthur Arús, Rocío Cano, Elisabeth López, Alba Sánchez and Marc Redondo.
The show will also draw on contributions from a varied group of columnists and collaborators, including Miguel Ángel Rodríguez "El Sevilla," David and Óscar Broc, Javier Ricou, Andrés Guerra and Sebastián Maspons.
What the Sunday edition will offer
The Sunday extension of the format will air from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. and will offer a recap of the week's viral moments, combined with newly produced segments and previews of content coming up on the daily editions.
With this weekend expansion, laSexta is reinforcing a television brand that has reshaped viewing habits in the early morning slot through visual dynamism and satirical commentary on current events.
