One Tree Hill actors Barbara Alyn Woods and Paul Johansson have reunited 14 years after the drama ended to launch a new podcast.

The former co-stars, aged 64 and 62 respectively, announced they are joining forces to co-host an upcoming audio series titled Not Over The Hill.

Woods shared her excitement about the project on Instagram, writing, "Turns out, we’re NOT over the hill," before teasing that she and Johansson are ready "to say everything they won't." The co-hosts have been promoting the venture with a series of social media clips, though an official premiere date has not yet been announced.

Fans of the long-running television drama quickly expressed delight at seeing the two actors together again. One follower commented, "So they just don't age or what?" while another wrote, "EVERYBODY STAY CALM!!! Dan and Deb are back at it again!"

Fans will remember the pair as the toxic Deb and Dan Scott, who were in many of the show's most outrageous storylines

A Troubled On-Screen History

Viewers originally came to know Woods and Johansson for their portrayals of Deb and Dan Scott on One Tree Hill, the hit teen drama that aired from 2003 to 2012 on The WB and The CW networks. The toxic marriage between their characters fueled many of the show's most dramatic storylines, including a memorable plotline in which Deb attempted to kill Dan.

Johansson was one of the longest-running cast members on the series, maintaining his role across all nine seasons. Woods was also an original cast member, though she departed the show during seasons seven and eight before making a return as a special guest star in the ninth and final season.

Since One Tree Hill came to an end in 2012, both actors have continued to work steadily across television and film. Johansson notably appeared in major television productions including Mad Men, CSI, and NCIS, in addition to starring in a lead role on SyFy's dark fantasy series Van Helsing.

Woods recently completed a recurring role on the horror television series Chucky, where she shared the screen with her daughter, actress Alyvia Alyn Lind.

A Family of Hollywood Actresses

All three of Woods' daughters have followed their mother into the entertainment industry, establishing successful acting careers in Hollywood. In addition to her work on Chucky, Alyvia has starred in the Netflix series Wayward.

Her 24-year-old sister, Emily Alyn Lind, featured prominently in the HBO reboot of the hit teen series Gossip Girl and currently stars on the Amazon Prime drama We Were Liars.

Woods' eldest daughter, Natalie Alyn Lind, currently stars in Dutton Ranch, a spin-off series connected to the hit Paramount+ Western drama Yellowstone. In an interview with the Daily Mail in June, Natalie revealed that she hopes to join the cast of the reality competition series Survivor, though she expressed uncertainty over whether filming schedules could accommodate both projects.

Outside of acting, Woods has been swept up in a whirlwind romance with Golden Bachelorette star Mark Anderson

A New Romance for Woods

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Woods has navigated significant transitions in her personal life. The actress divorced her ex-husband, John Lind, in 2024 after 20 years of marriage, with court filings revealing the couple had been separated since 2021.

Woods has since entered a high-profile romance with Mark Anderson, a reality television personality known for his appearance on ABC's senior dating series The Golden Bachelorette.

The actress first noticed Anderson on television while watching his daughter, Kelsey, compete on and win Joey Graziadei's season of The Bachelor. Impressed by what she saw, Woods reached out directly by sending Anderson a message on Instagram, unaware that he had already been cast for The Golden Bachelorette.

Anderson responded to her message after he was eliminated from the dating show. The pair began communicating regularly over social media, building a close bond before eventually meeting in person.

Reflecting on the romance during an interview with People magazine, Woods referred to Anderson as "the love of my life" and shared an encouraging message for older single women. "I want to tell women in the entire universe my age: Don't give up, because he's out there. Don't ever settle," she said. She added, "He has the best kids, and so do I, and they're all friends, and it's just been a blessing for all of us."

Woods also opened up about their relationship during an appearance on the Drama Queens podcast, describing Anderson as "the nicest, warmest, most loving, giving person I've ever met in my life." She jokingly added that her new partner gets recognized in public far more frequently than she does.
