Black Bear has released a trailer for The Wicker Husband, a fantasy romantic drama scheduled for worldwide release in October 2026.
The story unfolds in a fictional world and centers on a woman who suffers from loneliness. She approaches a basket weaver with an unusual request: to craft her a husband. The figure he weaves comes to life and becomes a devoted companion, but his existence quickly stirs envy among the couple's neighbors.
Olivia Colman, known for The Father, leads the cast alongside Alexander Skarsgård of Big Little Lies and Peter Dinklage of Game of Thrones.
