Plot and star cast

The narrative of Pressure unfolds 72 hours before the historic Normandy landings. The story centers on General Dwight D. Eisenhower and BBC meteorologist James Stagg as they work to plan the massive military operation, aiming to give Allied troops the best chance of victory in battle.

General Dwight D. Eisenhower served as the Supreme Commander of the Allied Expeditionary Force in Europe during World War II before later becoming the 34th President of the United States. The Normandy landings on June 6, 1944, marked the largest seaborne invasion in history and opened a major Western Front against Nazi Germany.

Brendan Fraser leads the cast alongside Andrew Scott, Kerry Condon, and Damian Lewis, among other actors.
