Peruvian salsa singer Brunella Torpoco will launch her new single No sufras corazón alongside Tony Manuel at a Callao concert on Sunday.

The official presentation of the track is scheduled for Sunday, August 16, starting at 12:00 p.m., as part of the Gran Serenata al Chimpum Callao festival in the Chacaritas district of the port city. Callao, located adjacent to the capital city of Lima, is widely recognized as the traditional heartland of salsa music in Peru.

The single was written by Peruvian composer Edgar Javier Flores Purizaca following Torpoco's successful concert tour across the United States. The release marks an important milestone for Manuel, an emerging singer who has been building a public following and trending on TikTok as he establishes his career in tropical music.

Torpoco said she was deeply excited to return to her home neighborhood in Callao to share the new release directly with local residents. She noted that presenting the song in her own community gives the track an even more special significance, and she invited fans to gather at the stage from noon onwards.

El nuevo sencillo de Brunella Torpoco se presentará oficialmente el domingo 16 de agosto durante la Gran Serenata al Chimpum Callao, un evento que promete reunir a varios artistas internacionales y nacionales.

Festival Lineup and Event Details

The Gran Serenata is a key highlight of Callao's annual constitutional province anniversary celebrations, featuring a mix of established international acts and local performers. Torpoco will act as host for the concert, which includes international performances by Cuban salsa and timba groups La Charanga Habanera and Los cuatro de Cuba. The stage program also showcases Peruvian musical acts Maryto y su Salsón, K-llao Salsa, La Primerísima, and Manuel.

The event will take place in the Chacaritas area at La 7tma. Organizers confirmed that admission is free for attendees who donate non-perishable food items at the entrance.

Recent Successes and Chart Milestones

The upcoming single comes during a busy period for Torpoco, who recently appeared as a featured performer at the anniversary concert for the tropical music group Explosión de Iquitos, where she said she had an incredible experience on stage.

The singer has also achieved recent commercial success with her release Mix Chelero 4, which reached number one on the Top 50 Perú Tropical chart. Torpoco expressed her gratitude to her fanbase for their unconditional support, which has helped establish her as one of the prominent female artists in Peruvian salsa.
