Carlota Casiraghi, daughter of Princess Caroline of Monaco, wore a striped dress from French label Vanessa Bruno while attending the Musanostra Prize 2026 in Corsica as guest of honour. The dress is currently reduced by 20 percent.
Casiraghi travelled to Lumio, Corsica, for the 16th edition of the E Statinate festival, an event celebrating literature and the wines of the Balagne region. Her appearance came as she continues her summer holiday.
Honoured for her first solo book
The occasion was not a routine outing. Casiraghi received recognition at the festival for her first solo book, La Fêlure, which was released in January this year.
For the event, she set aside the more romantic or minimalist Chanel pieces she is often seen in, opting instead for a casual look built around a short striped dress with a V-neckline, a small collar and short lantern sleeves. The straight-cut silhouette skimmed the body without clinging, giving the dress a shirt-dress inspired shape that kept the overall look relaxed rather than formal.
She paired the dress with a braided brown belt cinched at the waist, breaking up the vertical stripes and emphasising her figure. Beyond suiting the summer heat thanks to its lightweight fabric, the striped print is one expected to carry through into clothing, footwear and accessories for the autumn-winter 2026/27 season.
A discounted dress that stays in style
The striped Vanessa Bruno dress Casiraghi wore is now reduced by 20 percent. It originally cost 265 euros and is currently priced at 185 euros as summer sales enter their final stretch, when stock and sizes are limited but bargains can still be found.
The price remains on the higher side for a sale item, but the dress is considered one of the more accessible pieces in Casiraghi's wardrobe, and one that is timeless enough to wear beyond summer. It is made from 57 percent cotton and 43 percent linen, making it breathable and lightweight.
Roman sandals worn by generations of royals
Casiraghi completed the outfit with brown Roman sandals featuring four straps across the instep for extra support, a style she has worn on previous occasions. The flat-soled sandals have become one of the season's most popular styles among celebrities and royals, also recently worn by Spain's Princess Leonor, Infanta Sofia and Queen Letizia.
Princess Caroline of Monaco was seen wearing similar sandals in her youth, and the style is often described as evoking Greek and Hellenic influences that are also present in the wider autumn-winter 2026/27 trends.
The dress is expected to remain part of Casiraghi's rotation beyond the summer, worn with straight-leg jeans, thick tights or skirts as the seasons change.
