Cassie Ventura and her husband Alex Fine were seen together on a red carpet for the first time in more than a year, stepping out in London days after it emerged that her ex-partner Sean "Diddy" Combs will be freed from prison earlier than expected.
Ventura, 40, and Fine, 33, attended the MobLand season two world premiere at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square, marking their first joint red carpet appearance since Combs's trial and conviction last summer.
Ventura wore a grey strapless midi dress with matching ballet heels, her dark hair worn down in a middle part, with natural, complementary make-up. Fine, clean-shaven, wore an all-black outfit consisting of a cropped knit sweater with the sleeves rolled up, baggy trousers and leather dress shoes.
The couple, who share three children, moved abroad following Ventura's testimony in the Combs sex-trafficking trial. In a legal statement filed in May, she said: "I reside outside of the United States. I do not intend to move back to the United States."
Diddy's Guilty Verdict and Sentence
Combs, 56, was found guilty on two counts of transportation for the purposes of prostitution at his 2025 federal trial, but was acquitted of the more serious charges of racketeering and sex trafficking. A judge sentenced him in October 2025 to 50 months, or four years and two months, in prison.
During the trial, Ventura gave graphic testimony alleging that Combs abused her over more than a decade.
Release Date Moved Up Again
Combs's discharge date from FCI Fort Dix, a Federal Correctional Institution in New Jersey, is now February 5, 2028, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons. It is the latest in a long series of changes to his release date.
Just last month, the date had been changed to February 20, 2028 following a prison brawl. Before that, it had been brought forward from February to January.
His release date has moved repeatedly since he began serving his sentence, from an original summer release to April, then February, then January, and now back to February. He was also sentenced to five years of supervised release once he leaves prison.
Judge Arun Subramanian said a lengthy sentence was necessary for deterrence and that he was not convinced Combs would not reoffend if released. The judge condemned what he called Combs's "savage" abuse of Ventura, saying he was making an example of him because of the "irreparable harm" caused to his victims.
Combs was previously granted a reprieve last October under the FIRST STEP Act, a prison reform law from Donald Trump's first presidency that was championed by Kim Kardashian and has led to the early release of tens of thousands of prisoners, which moved his date to April 25, 2028. It was later adjusted to April 15, 2028, then to February 23, 2028, and then to January 24, 2028, before this month's change.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons told the Daily Mail: "For privacy, safety, and security reasons, we do not comment on the conditions of confinement for any incarcerated individual, including release plans or specifics regarding why a release date changes."
Prison Brawl and Solitary Confinement
News of the latest change came a week after Combs got into a fight with another inmate at Fort Dix. Multiple sources told TMZ that Combs lashed out after the inmate insulted him.
A spokesman for FCI Fort Dix declined to discuss the incident, telling the Daily Mail: "For privacy, safety, and security reasons, we do not release information regarding the conditions of confinement for any inmate, including housing assignments, nor do we discuss whether a particular inmate is the subject of allegations, investigations, or sanctions."
Sources said the two men began pushing each other before punches started flying. Combs reportedly "held his own" before guards separated them, and he was sent to solitary confinement as a result.
Other Infractions and Denials
Combs has reportedly had several infractions at the New Jersey prison since he was transferred there on October 30. Last year he was said to have been caught consuming a concoction of fermented Fanta, sugar and apples, according to TMZ sources, though his representatives denied the claim.
A statement posted on Combs's X account read: "The rumors claiming Mr Combs was caught with alcohol are completely false. His only focus is becoming the best version of himself and returning to his family."
A spokesperson for Combs also told the Daily Mail he "has not violated any prison rules," adding: "His sobriety and self-discipline are priorities, and he is taking them seriously." The representative noted it was "only his first week at FCI Fort Dix, and unfortunately, rumors will surface throughout his time there," and asked the public and press "to give him the benefit of the doubt, the privacy to focus on his personal growth, and the grace to move forward in peace."
Days later, Combs was reported to have broken prison rules again by making an unauthorized three-way phone call. Combs said he had simply been speaking with his lawyer, who said the head of legal communications was preparing a statement for approval to be sent to The New York Times.
