The actress explained that her medications for the treatment of lupus, an autoimmune disease diagnosed in 2013, promotes weight gain. However, this is not a problem for the artist. “I prefer to be healthy and take care of myself. My medications are important and I believe they are what helps me. (…) I’m not a model, I never will be. I think they’re great, but I’m definitely not that,” he hit .
Selena went on to emphasize the importance of self-acceptance. “I just wanted to encourage anyone who feels ashamed of what they’re going through and nobody knows the real story. I want people to know that you’re beautiful and gorgeous,” she maintained.
