Sertanejo singer Rick Sollo, who had success with the duo ‘Rick & Renner’, has his assets pawned by the Brazilian justice to settle a millionaire debt. The decision was made in January this year, but fell to the media this Tuesday (28/2), after the artist sang for Jair Bolsonaro.
The debt maintained by the musician stems from a loan taken out with rural producers in 2017, at which time Rick broke with Renner. The singer’s idea was to collaborate with Giovani, Gian’s ex-partner, but the venture didn’t work.
Due to the “musical bankruptcy”, the sertanejos constituted a debt in the amount of R $ 639,194.78.
With Rick Sollo’s non-payment, the São Paulo Court of Justice ruled that his assets would be frozen as collateral for the loan.
In this joke, the musician lost a luxurious property of 6 thousand square meters of built-up area, located in Itu, in the hinterland of São Paulo. The land is within a private condominium. In 2020, the musician put the villa up for sale to pay off his debts, but he was unable to find a buyer.
Curious or not, Rick Sollo is on the list of sertanejos who have declared their support for Bolsonaro. On Sunday (26/2), the singer moved the former candidate by singing praises at a barbecue.
