The dispute between Jojo Todynho and her ex-husband Lucas Matias de Souza came out of social media for Justice. The singer filed a lawsuit against the ex-serviceman and filed a request for an injunction to prohibit him from mentioning her name in any medium, electronic or otherwise, under penalty of a fine of R $ 100,000 each time she is mentioned .
The singer is also seeking compensation for moral damages in the amount of R$ 100,000.
In her trial, Jojo claims that she began to suffer from embarrassment after her marriage ended and that she was a “victim of psychological abuse” as well as being cursed and humiliated.
More than 30 links were attached to the trial, including podcast interviews, posts, leaked messages in which Lucas Matias calls Jojo a “farm slut” and having had an affair with former councilor Gabiel Monteiro
Judge Aylton Cardoso Vasconcellos, of the 3rd Regional Civil Court of Jacarepaguá, Rio, ruled that Lucas was called to rule on the file and present his defense within five days. Indicating that he “is at an uncertain and unknown address” following the separation, Jojo’s defense is requesting that he be subpoenaed electronically.
The lawsuit will be held without legal secrecy, “since the hypotheses of article 189 of the code of civil procedure have not been verified”, which deals with cases in which legal secrecy applies.
