Karen Muller

In the 1990s, Karen was one of the ten highest paid models in the world and competed with Claudia Schiffer for the title of the most spectacular blonde on the catwalk. But behind his charming smile was hidden a heartache. In 2001, Mulder revealed that she had been abused while modeling. She accused various people: politicians, temporary workers and even Prince Albert of Monaco. No one took her comments seriously at the time, and the model herself was accused of taking drugs.

Soon relatives identified her for treatment in a psychiatric clinic. Since then, the model’s life has deteriorated. She suffered from chronic depression and even attempted suicide. There was no question of continuing her career, the last time she stood on the podium was in 2007 and today she rarely appears in public.

Gia Karanji

Gia was one of the world’s first fashion models. Her career peaked in the 1970s. Then the type of blondes was in fashion and the sultry Karanji stood out against their background. She was one of the first to dare to photograph frankly – her nude photos for Vogue in 1978 shook society. Success and a lot of money made Gia a regular in New York nightclubs, where she became addicted to drugs. Later, doctors diagnosed him with AIDS. The disease literally ate the living model – there was no trace of the former beauty, because the whole body was covered with ulcers. In 1986, at the age of 26, she died and the morgue was advised to bury her in a closed casket.

Ruslana Korshunova

The Russian-born Kazakh model was widely known as the face of brands Vera Wang and Nina Ricci. However, today they are not discussing his career so much as the circumstances of the mysterious death. On June 28, 2008, 4 days before her 21st birthday, Korshunova fell out of the window of her ninth-floor apartment in Manhattan. Relatives did not believe the version of suicide offered by the police, because everything was fine in the girl’s life, and her career was at its peak – she returned to New York after the fashion week in Paris.

The model’s hair also became a mystery in the case – several witnesses said it had become shorter and the ends were clearly cut inaccurately. A version appeared that the causes of Ruslana’s death should be sought in the Rose of the World sect, whose model followed the formations. To date, the truth has not been revealed.
