Former gospel singer Giotta posted a photo on Instagram showing the document image with the new name: Ella Viana de Hollanda. The artist was already in the process of gender transition since last year.
“Call me by name, Elsa [Me chame pelo nome Ella, em tradução livre]”, the singer captioned, celebrating the new step in her transition process with the new ID card on a table.
She began the change process in April 2022 and has been taking steps in the transition ever since. The singer became famous after participating in freshman Raúl Gil programme, on SBT. The singer has also recorded albums in the gospel segment, with the album “Geração Jesus”, released in 2013, as a Latin Grammy nomination the following year.
