Peers did not spare: Prince William faced this problem at school

Sports activities definitely remained in the memory of the future king.

As you know, Prince William attended Eton College, a prestigious boarding school for boys. His classmate was Eddie Redmayne, who became a famous actor. They were friends then and still keep in touch.

Well, during their studies, they were also united by a passion for sports. Both played in the rugby team. The matches were a real test for Prince William. The fact is that players from other teams have been trying hard to face the heir to the British throne.

“Guillaume is a wonderful person. I always felt a bit sorry for him because everyone wanted to fight the future King of England and constantly caught him on the pitch. He took all the hits,” Eddie shared in an interview.

Redmayne himself had much more pleasant memories of school, as studying at Eton had become crucial for him, not at all because of his knowledge of the British monarch. It was there that he met his future wife, Hannah Bagshaw, while attending a charity event at the nearby school where she was educated.
