Hollywood Producer Slams Jenna Ortega’s Comments On ‘Wandinha’: ‘Unfortunate Situation’

Steven DeKnight calls the actress ‘spoiled and toxic’

the producer of hollywood Steven DeKnightwho signs productions such as Buffy: The Vampire Slayer (2001 – 2002) and Ring of Fire: Revolt (2018), did not like the exposure of Jenna Ortega about his dissatisfaction with the leading role in Wandinha. Recently, the artist said that she is not proud of certain scenes that she made and that she even had to change the lines of the character.

To the TwitterOn Wednesday, 15, Steven countered the actress’s criticisms, noting that “as an essential part of the thing, the actors don’t have the full picture of where the storyline is going or why some lines are needed for the whole thing to make sense.”

According to him, it was “an unfortunate situation to publicly expose creative differences”. This isn’t the first time the producer has talked about Jenna. On another occasion, he had already explained in more detail about his opinion of her, noting that “this type of statement is more than flawed and toxic.”

“She’s young, so maybe she doesn’t know any better yet (but she should). She also has to wonder how she would feel if the showrunners did an interview and talked about how difficult she was and how she refused to play the material,” Steven said.

However, the producer guaranteed to recognize Jenna Ortega’s talent. “Despite my anger at what she has said publicly, I have made it clear that I think she is a phenomenal talent,” she said.
