Fernanda Vasconcellos explains why she spent 10 years away from soap operas

Fernanda Vasconcellos returns to prime time on Globo after almost a decade away from soap operas. The actress will join the cast of Três Graças, a new 9pm show written by Aguinaldo Silva, which premieres on October 20th. This will be his first regular role since Haja Coração (2016), marking a long-awaited return to television.

In an interview with Marie Claire, Fernanda defined the moment as a personal and professional restart. “Everything feels new because I just became a mom. My son is three, so everything looks different, everything is new,” she said.
